About Our Data
Wake Distressed Real Estate aggregates publicly available property tax information from Wake County public records. This information is considered “the property of the people” under North Carolina public records law.
What Information We Display
We only display information that is already publicly available through Wake County records, including:
- Property addresses
- Tax bill information
- Property ownership records
- Tax delinquency status
How to Remove Your Information
Since we only aggregate publicly available tax records, the most effective way to remove your property from appearing as “distressed” is to resolve any outstanding tax obligations with Wake County.
Once your tax status is updated in the county records, your property will no longer appear in our distressed property listings during our next data update.
